Another Friday! You know what that means: Bible Study Fridays!!! After some time away, it’s good to dive back in to here 🙂
I hope all are doing well and God is blessing you in many ways.
“This is what the Lord says: ‘Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep in the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.'”
Planted. What does that mean? What is the Lord planning for all of us? What will happen tomorrow? I believe anything happens for a reason: God’s mission. If you happen to move across town, state, or even country, you were meant to be there even if it is a temporary move. We will possibly never know why, but when it happens, we accept and trust in Him. God planted you there for a purpose. Your job, neighborhood, college, etc. It all means something! Wherever you go, take and trust the Lord with all your heart and watch others see His glory through you. Show others the TRUTH of who God truly is. He is peaceful; he is kind; he is forgiving; He is righteous; he is powerful. He is full of grace!
God leads you to places you never even thought about. Lean on Him for comfort. Never fear. Trust in Him.
Let others see and taste the fruit that He produces. Let them watch you trust God. Have others watch you endure that heat. People will see how much you love Jesus Christ! It is the most magical and freeing feeling ever experienced.
Don’t fight Him. Turn from sin and let God guide you. Lean on Him. Trust in Him fully. He knows what He’s doing.
Let your professors see the love you have. Let your employers see that trust. Keep the wisdom of God deep within your roots and spread out the branches so high!
He places you in situations for a reason. Seek Him through the darkest hours.
Never fear – God is here.
