Has anyone seen the 2015 film War Room that was directed by Alex Kendrick? If you have, good for you. If you haven’t, well what are you waiting for?? Get to it! Lol. It’s an amazing and powerful story surrounded by an outstanding cast.
It has the storyline of one of those typical families who experience God only on the Sunday morning church services instead of living through His great words throughout the week. Tony is obsessed with his work as a salesman and does whatever he can possibly do to create more revenue, often lying, scheming, and many flirtations. His wife, Elizabeth, is unhappy and bitter despite having a successful career and a seemingly great family. Their attitudes and tension with life and each other start to affect their only daughter. Then one day, a nice elderly woman decides to take action.
This film is filled with love, forgiveness, and grace. It will truly rethink about your own life and faith and think about what’s most important. I believe my faith has surely grown from watching this film.
Let me know your thoughts. I would love to know how you think about it.
Have a good one! God bless.
